Contest 1 has a Winner, Contest 2 Begins!

Congratulations to Elwenah, whose design titled “BFWB” is the winner of our very first Customized Girl Design Contest. She will receive a check for $200 and her design will be featured in the March 14th issue of US Weekly.

Wanted: Overnight Best Friend

We had a lot of fantastic entries, and we wish we could have given out more prizes. The good news is that another contest starts now, so there are still plenty of opportunities to be the next winner!

Simply create an awesome design that you think would look great in US Weekly, save it to the gallery, and tag it “Contest 2”.

=========================================

If you’ve never saved a design before, here’s a quick lesson:

Choose any piece of apparel from one of our many categories (we recommend Her Tops and Undies). In the Design Center you can add text, clipart, and your own images. Everything is adjustable, so feel free to experiment with the text styles, colors, sizes, etc.

Most importantly, be sure to save your design once you’re finished. Just click the save button in the Design Center, which looks like this:

SaveToGallery

On the next page name your design, choose the first tag from the drop down menu, and add “Contest 2” as an additional tag.

Tag it “Contest 2?

Be sure to leave your Share Option as “share”. Then click “Save” and you’re done!

You probably noticed that Elwenah’s design does not exactly the same as the one in the ad. One of the reasons we liked it so much is because we thought it would be perfect for the Spring Break audience, and we wanted to put it on a more Spring Break-friendly tank top. In the future, we might ask to adjust your design a bit if we choose it as the winner.

If you created a super cool design for Contest 1, feel free to add Contest 2 to the tags. Some of the designs were so good, we might consider them for Contest 2 as well.

Updated: The final date for entries is March 24th at noon ET. We'll try to get the winner of this contest into the April 4th issue of US Weekly. After that, feel free to tag your new designs Contest 3!

*You must be 18 years old to claim your prize.

*Enter as many times as you want. You do not have to purchase your design to be entered into the contest.
